Pre-K Network

The Pre-K Network is an expansion of the early childhood options available at Miami-Dade County Public Schools for children from birth to age 5. We offer both free and tuition-based programs in partnership with Career Technical Education (CTE) Early Childhood (ECE) Labs, Magnet Schools Pre-K Montessori, Technical College/Adult Education Centers, and the Teenage Parent Program (TAP). Career Technical Education (CTE) Early Childhood (ECE) Labs

These labs offer hands-on learning for high school students interested in early childhood education. Features include: 

  • Practical Experience: Real-world learning environments for students. 
  • Certified Teachers: Educators with Florida Department of Education and DCF Director credentials. 
  • Dual Benefits: High school students gain career skills, while young children receive quality early education.

Miami-Dade County Public Schools (M-DCPS) provides day care centers at several Technical Colleges and Adult Education Centers. These centers offer:

Teenage Parent Program (TAP)

The TAP program is a comprehensive dropout prevention initiative for pregnant and parenting students. It includes:
